Etta Marie Buttry

Etta Marie Buttry, 83, of Poplar Bluff, MO died Friday, August 16, 2019 at Westwood Hills Caring Center.  She was born August 19, 1935 in Shook, MO to the late Warner Davis and Etta Mae Davis.  She was a member of the Southside General Baptist Church.

She married Bill Elmer Buttry July 6, 1960 in Poplar Bluff.  He preceded her in death.

Etta was the custodian for the First Methodist Church before retiring.

Surviving are two daughters, Sandy Weatherford (Mike) and Lisa Slusher (Brad); and two grandsons, Justin Weatherford and Cody Slusher (Hannah).  She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Bilbreath.

A visitation will be Tuesday, August 20 at 10:30 AM at the Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home Chapel.  A graveside service will be held at 12:30 PM at Brown Cemetery at Puxico, MO.  Rev. Keith Luke will officiate.
