Ella Mae Cordell Ruff

Ella Cordell Ruff, 77, died Feb. 4, 2013 in Poplar Bluff, Mo. She was born May 11, 1935 in Qulin, Mo. to John C. Cordell and Gertreau Burkett Cordell. Ella was a longtime resident of Poplar Bluff. She was of the Pentecostal faith. Ella was a Home Health Aid and retired from Butler County Health Center. She was an ordained minister and loved ministering to people. She is survived by one daughter, Tonjia Miller of Doniphan, Mo.;one brother, Larry Cordell of Bowling Green, Ky.; two sisters, Ruthie Weilmuenster of Poplar Bluff, Mo. and Janis Hancock of Bowling Green, Ky.; and one grandchild. Preceding her in death were her parents and one sister, Mildred Nichols. Visitation will be 10 to 11 A.M. Friday, Feb. 8, 2013 at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral will follow at 11 A.M. with Rev. Darryl Friday officiating. Burial will be in Carolla Cemetery in Oglesville, Mo.
