Edward E. Pertell, Jr.

Edward E. Pertell, Jr., 71, died August 31, 2013. He was born November 6, 1941 in Chicago, Ill. He was a longtime resident of Wayne County Mo. Before retiring, Mr. Pertell was employed as a fork lift driver. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his Harley. He was a verteran of the U.S. Army. He married Debra Hall December 28, 1970 in Pertersburg, West Virginia. She survives. He is also survived by two sons, David Pertell of Magazine, Ark. and Joseph Pertell of Greenville, Mo.; five daughters, Chasity Pertell of Greenvill, Mo., Laurie McCarthy, and Vicky Standridge, both of Bentonville, Ark., Linda Lee of Magazine, Ark. and Jenelle Pertell of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; two brothers, Danny Pertell of St. Charles, Ill. and Jim Pertell of Elgin, Ill.; one sister, Sue Albertson of St. Charles, Ill.; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents, Edward Pertel, Sr. and Francise Schaffer. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. .
