Douglas Crowell

Douglas Crowell, 65, of Bunker Hill, Illinois, passed away November 2, 2023.

He was born July 21, 1958, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to SB Crowell and Norma (Decker) Crowell.

Douglas was a longtime resident of Illinois. He enjoyed spending time on his houseboat, camping in his motor home.  He loved spending time with his family, and his dog Peanut.

Douglas is survived by one son: AJ Crowell; one daughter: Sandy Crowell; one brother: Vincent Crowell of Hawk Point; two sisters: Kimberly (Mark) Hopkins of Poplar Bluff and Cindy (William) Crowell of Springfield; his significant other: Lexie Kaonohi; dear friend Lulu Kaonohi.  He was preceded in death by his parents: SB and Norma Crowell and dear friend Bill Williams.  A host of family and friends also survive.

Visitation will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 13, 2023, at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff; with Graveside service at 12 p.m. at Brown Chapel Cemetery in Broseley.  Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
