Donna Jean Mowad

Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Mrs. Mowad was born September 5, 1949 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was a registered nurse for John J. Pershing V.A. Hospital, and an Army Veteran that served in the Gulf War as an Army Nurse. Mrs. Mowad enjoyed her dogs, playing the piano, and composing her own music. Survivors include: two daughters, Bonnie Hollinger and husband Tim of Poplar Bluff, Mo, and Sharmin Moss and husband Jason of Union City, Tn; two brothers, Randal Blankenship and wife Sonya of Manviel, Tx, and Dennis Blankenship and wife Becky of Pleasant Hill, La; one stepmother, Corine Blankenship of Pleasant Hill, La; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Blankenship of Spring, Tx; one honarary sister, Kim Gum of Poplar Bluff, MO; four grandchildren, Kayla Zachary of Poplar Bluff, Mo, Kristin Moss, Samuel Moss, and Chandler Moss all of Union City, Tn; and serveral nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dudley Dewayne Blankenship and Jessie Mae (Gaddis) Blankenship; and one brother, David Blankenship.
