Donald Leroy Brown

Donald Leroy Brown, 94, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri passed away on April 15, 2025, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

He was born March 7, 1931, in Hutchinson, Kansas to Frank L. Brown and Thelma (Huff) Brown. On Jan. 31, 1954, he married Rose F. Zielke.

Donald was a long-time resident of Poplar Bluff, and a member of First Baptist Church, where he was a deacon and choir member. He was an avid bowler, a Raiders basketball fan and he enjoyed playing golf and fishing. Donald was an x-ray tech for 45 years at the V.A. Hospital. He was in the United State Air Force.

Donald is survived by his loving wife, Rose Brown; one son, Roger Brown of Pottsboro, Texas; two daughters, Lorri A Scott of Los Gatos, California, and Janet D. Brown of Medford, Oregon; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Thelma Brown. A host of family and friends also survive.

Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 21, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Poplar Bluff, 551 N. Westwood Blvd, Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m. Lunch will be provided by the church after the funeral service. Fitch- Hillis Funeral Home is assisting with all funeral arrangements
