Dona May (Knight) Declue

Dona May DeClue, 68, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away February 16, 2025, at Cedargate Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family.

Dona was born September 20, 1956, in St. Louis, Missouri, to George Knight and Virgina (Loehnig) Knight.  In 1981 she married Harvey DeClue in Washington County, Missouri.

Dona enjoyed playing card and board games, painting, drawing, cooking. She loved listening to country music.  She especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Dona is survived by one son Stan DeClue; one daughter Aimee (Bryan) Longhibler; three brothers, Keith Knight, Karl Knight, and Mike Knight; two sisters, Linda Knight, and Helen Clarity; nine grandchildren; and one great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Virgina Knight; and two sisters Dorleen Opal, and Barb House.  A host of family and friends also survive.

Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home is assisting with all arrangements.
