Debbie Hendricks

Debbie Hendricks, 60, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021.  She was born in Japan on July 7, 1961 to the late William Bedsworth and Mary Orman.  She was of the Baptist faith.

She was married to her best friend, Curtis “Rick” Hendricks.  Debbie had worked as a homecare aid but spent most of her more recent time caring for her husband and family.  She was a fierce defender of those that were in need.  Her favorite things were butterflies and anything purple.  The center of her heart was her grandchildren.

Debbie is survived by her husband, three daughters, Stacy Burris of Fisk, Misty Hendricks of Poplar Bluff and Mary Hendricks of Kirksville, MO; two brothers, Billy Bedsworth of Owasso, OK and Bobby Mills of Independence, MO; two sisters, Jeanie Upson of Ardmore, OK and Charlene Bedsworth of Claremore, OK; her niece, Karolyn Mills and her daughter Elizabeth of Williamsville; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
