Deanna Kay Beckham, 69, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo. She was born Dec. 19, 1947 in Ellisnore, Mo. to the late Walter Lea Kelly and Hattie Malin Kelly. She was a long time resident of Poplar Bluff. She was a member of the Midland Church. Deanna was married to Gary Beckham. He survives. Deanna was a supervisor in the Environmental Service Department at Westwood Hills Nursing Home. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, playing bingo and gardening. Besides her husband, Gary, she is survived by three sons, Jesse Gurlen (Nikki), Joshua Gurlen, and Robert McFarland all of Poplar Bluff; two daughters, Anita Freeman (James) and Kelly Faughn (Jim) both of Poplar Bluff; two brothers, Vernon Bell Jr. of Foristell, Mo. and Jim Kelly of Council Bluffs, Idaho; four sisters, Vera Rogers of Wright City, Mo., Brenda Phillips of St. Peters, Mo., Patty Wolfe of Grey Sumitt, Mo., and Becky Boxx of Washington, Mo.; five grandchildren, Jessie Faith Gurlen, Addison Grace Gurlen, Logan Freeman, Zoë Jade Freeman, Daniel Faughn; and one great grandchild, Kaidan Freeman. Visitation will be Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral will follow at 12:00 noon. The Rev. Everett Gunter will officiate. Burial will be at City Cemetery.
