Charles Adams

Charles W. Adams, 84, of Wappapello, Missouri , passed away Thursday, December 28, 2023, in his home.

Charles was born August 26, 1939, in Arkansas to Charles Robert Adams and Virginia (Elder) Adams. He married Sandra Markham on January 30, 1988 in Lilbourn, Missouri.

Charles was a long time resident of Wayne County. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing and repairing small engines.

Charles is survived by his wife: Sandra Adams of Wappapello; two sons: Charles W. Adams, Jr. and Scott Adams both of Tennessee; three daughters: Patricia Shallenber of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, Lorene White of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Robin Knapp of Wappapello, one brother: Gary Adams; one sister Doris Castsille of Poplar Bluff; fifteen grandchildren; and thirty-five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Virginia Adams. A host of family and friends also survive.
