Cecil James (Jimmy) Woods, Jr.

Cecil James (Jimmy) Woods, Jr., 55, of St. Louis, MO, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2020, peacefully at his home.

Jimmy was born in Poplar Bluff.  He attended Central High School in Minnesota and later graduated from North Hollywood School in North Hollywood, CA.   Jimmy later attended the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, CA.

At the time of his death, Jimmy worked at Allied Universal for the past five years.  Jimmy’s love for fashion design, sketching and drawing was known by all the people in his life.  Jimmy was very gifted and he enjoyed sharing his gift with anyone who he came in contact with.

He is survived by his sisters, Lesa Woods, Helen Woods, Leslie Woods, Reeyana Woods;  brothers, Terry Woods and Stephen Woods; as well as a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Roosie Lee Hood and his father, Cecil James Woods, Sr.
