Cecil "Jack" Woods

Cecil "Jack" Woods Sr., 73, of Poplar Bluff, Mo. died October 5, 2013 in Poplar Bluff. He was a longtime resident of Poplar Bluff. Mr. Woods was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Before retiring he was a self employed construction worker. Surviving are three sons, Cecil Woods Jr. and Rocenta of Tn., Terry Lamont Woods and Steven Ray Woods both of Calif.; four daughters, Lisa Woods and Helen Marie Woods both of Calif., Leslie DeAnna Woods of Minnesota, and Reanna Evans of Kansas City, Mo.; three sisters, Carrie Diggs McCombs of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Myrtle Shaw and Willie of Broseley, Mo. and Gladys Reed and Richard of Kansas City, Mo.; seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Visistation will be Saturday from 11 AM to 1 PM, followed by the funeral service at 1PM at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Johnny Williams will officiate. Burial will be at City Cemetery.
