Carl Don Jenkins

Carl D. Jenkins, 56, of Poplar Bluff died Wednesday, January 30, 2013 in St. Louis, Mo. He was born September 30, 1956 in Kennett, Mo. Mr. Fellowship General Baptist Church. Carl (Don) enjoyed playing the guitar and singing, watching Cardinal baseball, and was an Elvis Presley fan. He was married to Vicki M. Payne Jenkins. She survives. Also surviving are two sons; Matthew Dale Jenkins and Kent Allan Jenkins, both of Poplar Bluff, one brother; Eddie Jenkins of Ozark, Mo., four sisters; Mary M. Wheetley of Mexico, Ind., Linda D. Rollins of Flora City, Florida, Carlyn Blankinship of Kennett, Mo., and Helen Jenkins of Gideon, Mo.; one gradchild, and several neices and nephews. His parents, Carl M. and Athmen L. Jenkins preceded him in death. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at Fellowship General Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff, followed by the funeral at 11:00 A.M. Rev. Byron Beck will officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home. The fsamily has requested NO FLOWERS .
