Brenda Bounds

Brenda Mae Bounds, 71, died Friday, January 18, 2013 in Poplar Bluff, Mo. Brenda was born April 24, 1941 in Poplar Bluff. She was a longtime resident. She was of the Baptist faith. Brenda was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, quilting and crocheting. She is survived by four sons, Steven J. Bounds, and Arnot W. Bounds, both of Poplar Bluff, Dale Bounds and wife Terry of Harviell, Mo., Terry A. Bounds and wife Jennifer of Greenville, Mo.; one daughter, Kay Lohman and Roger Hobbs of Poplar Bluff; three brothers, Wesley Ward and wife Thelma, Butch Ward and wife JoAnn, John Ward and wife Earline, all of Poplar Bluff; two sisters, Sharon Riddle of Poplar Bluff, and Pat Kirkley and husband Leon of Alabama; eleven grandchildren, and eight great -grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Birl Wesley Ward and Geraldine D. King Ward, and her husband James Edward Bounds. Visitation will be Monday 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. followed by the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jr. Bruce will officiate. Burial will be in Kerns Chapel Cemetery.
