Bobby Junior Stone

Bobby Junior Stone, 87, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021. He was born May 2, 1933 in Bernie, MO to the late Elmer Dee Stone and Goldie Omega (Nolen) Stone. In his school days, he was a member of the Bernie High School basketball team. He would go on to marry his wife, Carol. Noted for his devotion to his wife, he was also a loving father, father-in-law and grandfather to his daughters, son-in-law and grandchildren. His talents extended beyond the farm. He could weld anything and had a mechanical knack to make things work. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two daughters, Pamela Kay Foran and Robin Elaine Landing and one brother, Bill Stone. Bobby is survived by his daughter, Terry Lynn Frey of Haslet, TX and one brother, Jerrell Stone of Bernie, MO and one sister, Hytene Buesking of Poplar Bluff, as well as five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Graveside services are scheduled for Friday, January 8, 2021 at 11:00AM in the Little Brushy Cemetery of Wappapello, MO. Officiant will by Elder. Rob Duckett.
