Bob C. Nelson

2013. Bob was born July 31, 1932 to Charles and Gladys Coleman Nelson. On September 9, 1950 he married Ava Butts. Bob owned and operated Ozark Beverage Distributorship and later was a self employed building contractor. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was a member of the Poplar Bluff Blue Lodge 209, 32 degree Scottish Rite, Moolah Temple Shrine, Poplar Bluff Eagles and American Legion Post 153. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife. Mr. Nelson is survived by two sons, Charles Nelson of Colo., Greg and Kim Nelson of Poplar Bluff,; Two daughters, Sharon and Bob Betterby and Karen Nelson of Poplar Bluff and five grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at the Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home Chapel at 11 A.M. with funeral services at 12 noon. The Rev. Vernon will officiate. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens. Memorials can be made to the Poplar Bluff Blue Lodge. .
