Billy Joseph Saylors

Billy Joseph Saylors, 57, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away Monday, July 31, 2023, in his home with his beloved wife.

He was born Jan. 7, 1966, Poplar Bluff, Missouri to Rosalee Saylors.

Billy was a lifetime resident of Poplar Bluff. He enjoyed working on cars, fishing, and hunting. Billy volunteered for the Puxico and Essex Fire departments. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Billy is survived by his wife: Kathleen Saylors; four sons: Danny Baker of Poplar Bluff, David Saylors of Aid, Joseph Baker of Zanesville, Ohio and Robert Finch of Dexter; one daughter, Florence Moran of Poplar Bluff; two brothers: Delbert Cornett and Johnny Cornett, both of Poplar Bluff; 20 grandchildren: Rebecca McCarl, Haleigh Pierce, DeCoda Russom, Anna McCarl, Elijah Baker and Kameron Baker, all of Ohio, Daniel Moran, Gauge Saylors, Liberty Saylors, Journey Goff, Bryer Saylors , Wyatt Saylors, Rachel Lewis, Holly Lewis, Nevaeh Jones, Raylynn and Emma Jones all of Missouri, Mercedes Baker and Tristan Baker of Tennessee and Brittany Lewis of Michigan; four great-grandchild Amaya McCarl, Isabella Lewis, Ryan Lewis and Elizabeth Lewis. He is preceded in death by his mother: Rosalee Saylors, and one brother, Lonnie Cornett. A host of family and friends also survive.
