Bill G. Womack

Bill G. Womack, 84, died Feb. 6, 2014, in Jonesboro, Ar. Mr. Womack was born in Poplar Bluff, Mo. June 4, 1929. He was a longtime resident of Butler County. Mr. Womack was an insurance salesman. He married Lillian Hill in Piggott, Ar. July 12, 1947. She preceded him in death in April of 2010. Surviving him are one son, Billy G. Womack of Jonesboro, Ar.; and three sisters, Betty White of Little Rock, Ar., Jane DuBoys of Chesterfield, Mo. and Edith Johnson of Alice, Tx. Also preceding him in death were his parents, James Womack and Lucile F. Aden Womack, and one sister Vineta Resnik. Visitation will be at the Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home Chapel, Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014 at 12:00 noon. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 P.M. Reverend Matt Smith will officiate. Burial will be in City Cemetery.
