Betty Lou Padgett

Betty Lou Padgett, 85, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., a resident at Mark Twain Care Center, went home to be with The Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016. Betty was born March 19, 1930 in Fredericktown, Mo., to Lealon and Myrtle Bollinger. She married Arthur A. Ryan in 1945. They had two sons: James (Bonnie-Ryan of Poplar Bluff and Ronald (Brenda) Ryan of Jefferson City, Mo. whom survive.In 1952, she married Edward (Popcorn) Padgett. They had three children: Karen (Nelson) Wallis and Glen (Debbie) Padgett, all of Poplar Bluff, and Brenda (David) Johnson of Colcord, Okla., also survive. She had 11 grandchildren and 22 great- grandchildren.She was a member of New Home Baptist Church. Betty's loves were her family, church, sewing, crafting and cooking. She was a wonderful loving and giving mother and a friend to all.Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Brother Calvin Buhler officating
