Bertha Goodwin

August 12, 2012, at poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Bertha was born July 2, 1925 to Charley and Pearl Thomas Mitchell. Ms. Goodwin had been employeed at the Floresheim Shoe factory. She was of the baptist faith. She enjoyed spending time with her Children and grandchildren. Ms. Goodwin is survived by two daughters; JoAnn Cates and Henrietta Smith both Cates and wife Paula, Michael Cates and wife Terry, James Cates and wife Anita, and one granddaughter, Angela Cates all of Poplar Bluff, 6 great grandchildren; Jeremy, Forrest, River, Payton, Brileigh,and Jaden Cates, all of Poplar Bluff, Mo. Ms. Goodwin was preceeded in death by her parents and one grandchild, Brian Cates. Ms Goodwin will have a graveside service at 10 a.m. Tuesday Aug. 14, at Woodlawn Cemetery.
