Arvella Dugas

Arvella Jean Dugas, 70, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Friday, May 26, 2017, at her residence. She was born May 5, 1947, in Poplar Bluff to the late Arvell E. Fredwell and Myrtle L. Pennington Fredwell. She was a life long resident of Poplar Bluff. She married Gilbert Dugas Sept. 5, 1964, in Poplar Bluff. He survives. Arvella was a factory assembly line worker. She loved her family and her dogs. Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Stanley Dugas of Doniphan, Mo.; one daughter, Donna Wilcoxon of Van Buren, Mo.; and five grandchildren, Makenzie Wilcoxon, and Todd Wilcoxon of Van Buren, Drake Dugas, Drew Dugas and Daine Dugas of Poplar Bluff. Preceding her in death were four brothers, Garclee, Charles, Bob and Benjamin Fredwell, and one sister Mary Marlow. There will be no public services at the families request.
