David Clark Dowler

David Clark Dowler, 85, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away Monday September 11, 2023, in his home.

He was born July 9, 1938, Winterset, Iowa to Clark B. Dowler and Mariam (Cosand) Dowler.

David enjoyed fishing and hunting.

David is survived by his wife: Lynn Dowler; one son: Ethan Dowler of Pueblo, Colorado; one daughter Deanna Lynn Nelson of Ann Arbor, Michigan; one sister: Ann Newberry of Winterset, Iowa; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.  He is preceded in death by his parents: Clark and Mariam Dowler; and two brothers: Chuck Dowler and John Dowler.  A host of family and friends also survive.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Grace United Methodist Church of Poplar Bluff with Pastor Sheila Boyles officiating.  Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
