Martha A. Pogue, 98, of Poplar Bluff, Mo. died Saturday, October 3,
2015 at Oakdale Care Center. She was born June 17, 1917 in Pittsburg,
Penn. to the late George Clayton and Mamie Smith Clayton.
A graveside service will be Tuesday, at 1 PM,  Oct. 6, 2015 at Memorial
Gardens Cemetery.
Martha Pogue
William Leonard Bates. 99, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died October 11, 2015
at Poplar Bluff Regional Center.  He was born July 21, 1916 in
Hohenwald, Tenn. to the late Percy Bates and Hannah Hensley Bates.  He
was a long time resident of Poplar Bluff, Mo.  William was a member of
the Highland Drive Church of Christ. He was a self employed
photographer.
William married his wife, Mary, in Poplar Bluff, Mo. in 1942.  She
preceded him in death January 27, 2008.
He is survived by three daughters, Barabra Huff (Tom), Sandra Clark
(Mitch), and Sharon Bates all of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; two grandchildren,
Alex Clark (Kathryn) and Zane Clark (Katie) all of Broseley, Mo.; and
two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be Tuesday at 10 AM at Kinsey Cemetery
William Bates
Robert Tieman, 64, of Poplar Bluff, Mo. died Wednesday October 21,
2015 at his residence.  He was born October 28, 1950 to to Wilburt Roy
Tieman and Anna Lee Robertson Tieman.  He was a carpenter before
retiring.  
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Zora Mae Fred, 84, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Monday October 26,
2015 at Cedar Gate Nursing Facility.  She was born January 23, 1931 in
Wayne County to the late James Boyer and Maude Durrow Boyer.  She
was a long time resident of Poplar Bluff.
Her husband, Gale C. Fred, preceded her in death December of 1981.
Zora retired from the Lucy Lee Hospital housekeeping department.
Surviving are one son, David Fred; two daughters, Loretta Godfrey and
Lucille Medres all of Poplar Bluff; two brothers, Richard Boyer and
George Boyer both of Elsinore, Mo.; two sisters, Wilma Greenwall of
Aurora, Ill. and Bonnie Greenwall of Poplar Bluff; nine grandchildren, 15
great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Also preceding her in death was one daughter, Delores Wolfe and one
sister, Zella Bilbrey.
A visitation will be Wednesday from 10-11 A.M. at Fitch-Hillis Funeral
Home Chapel followed with the funeral service at 11 A.M.  Rev. Helen
Edwards will officiate.  Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Zora Mae Fred
Elnora Barnes, 78, of Poplar Bluff, Mo. died at her residence
Wednesday, October 28, 2015.  She was born December 15, 1936 in
Bragg City, Mo. to the late Carl Wayne Sales and Emma Center Sales.  
She was a long time resident of Poplar Bluff.  Elnora was of the
Pentecost faith.  She was a homemaker.
Elnora's husband, Rayburn Barnes preceded her in death in 1981.         
She is survived by two sons, Scotty Barnes and Daniel Frost both of
Poplar Bluff; two daughters, Charlotte Barnes and Teena Boyer both of
Poplar Bluff; one brother, Jerry Sales of Poplar Bluff; three sisters,
Dianna Hamilton of Hillsboro, Mo., Tammy Stacey of Poplar Bluff, Mo.,
and Carla Miller of Greenville, Mo.; six grandchildren, and five great
grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday at 11 A.M. at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home Chapel.  
A graveside service will be at 12:30 P.M. at Memorial Gardens.  The
Rev. Eddie Gordon will officiate.
