a life time resident of Poplar Bluff, Mo.  Carrell was a site
superintendent/manager for Maco Construction.  He enjoyed fishing and
driving tractors.
He is survived by three sons, Rod Priest of Poplar Bluff, David Priest of
Doniphan, Mo., and Tim Priest of New Orleans, La.;  one brother, Henry
Priest of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Albert Priest and
Sophronia Dell Parette Priest.
Visitation will be Tuesday at 10 AM followed by the funeral service at 11
AM at  Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home Chapel.  The Rev. Jerry Williams will
officiate.  Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery
Carrell Dean Priest
Robert M. Schenks, 63, of Van Buren, Mo., died Monday October 21,
2013 in Poplar Bluff, Mo.  He attended Souls Harbor Church.  He created
fantasy baseball video games and enjoyed watching baseball on T.V.
He is survived by one brother, John Samuel Schenks of Cadet, Mo.; and
two sisters, Mary Amanda Dame of Atlanta, Georgia and Lynna Biscoito
of Van Buren, Mo.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 A.M. Saturday, October 26,
2013 at Souls Harbor Pentecoast Church.  Bro. Charles Browning will
officiate.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Souls Harbor
Pentecost Church, Van Buren, Mo.  63965
Cecil "Jack" Woods Sr., 73, of Poplar Bluff, Mo. died October 5, 2013 in
Poplar Bluff.  He was a longtime resident of Poplar Bluff.  Mr. Woods
was of the Baptist faith.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing.  Before retiring
he was a self employed construction worker.
Surviving are three sons, Cecil Woods Jr. and Rocenta of Tn., Terry
Lamont Woods and Steven Ray Woods both of Calif.; four daughters,
Lisa Woods and Helen Marie Woods both of Calif., Leslie DeAnna Woods
of Minnesota, and Reanna Evans of Kansas City, Mo.;  three sisters,
Carrie Diggs McCombs of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Myrtle Shaw and Willie of
Broseley, Mo. and Gladys Reed and Richard of Kansas City, Mo.; seven
grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
Visistation will be Saturday from 11 AM to 1 PM, followed by the funeral
service at 1PM at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home Chapel.  The Rev. Johnny
Williams will officiate.  Burial will be at City Cemetery.
Cecil "Jack" Woods
October 30, 2013.  He was born July 19, 1938 in Temple, Texas to A.
Lee Cummings and Mary Lucille Gressett Cummings.  They preceded
him in death.
Ron Married Judy Shaver July 4, 1963.  She survives.  
Ron was a 1963 graduate of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Tx.  
After graduation he joined the National Guard achieving the rank of  
leutenant.  Later he became a trainer in the officer's training program for
the regular army at Fort Benning, Ga.  Before moving to Poplar Bluff,
Mo. to start a career in Real Estate, he was a sales manager for Dun and
Bradstreet for thirteen years.  He was a member of Butler County Council
for the Elderly, Handicapped and Disabled, a past member of the Poplar
Bluff Rotary Club, a member of the Three Rivers Shrine Club, a past
member of the Three Rivers Board of Realtors, and treasurer of the Holy
Cross Episcopal Church.
Ron enjoyed thoroughbred horse racing as an owner and spent many
winters in Hot Springs, Ar. during racing season.  He most enjoyed his
family and provided many unforgettable vacations in Colorado, Florida
and Current River.  He will be greatly missed.
He is also survived by one son, Marc Allan Cummings and Kara of Poplar
Bluff; two daughters, Christy Lynn Reid and William of Faribault, Mn.,
and Kimberly Lee Wiseman and Greg of Poplar Bluff; eight grandchildren,
Joseph Reid, Benjamin Reid, Timothy Reid, Emily Wiseman, Alexander
Wiseman, Elleanna Wiseman, Coleman Cummings, and Stella Cummings.

A memorial service will be held at the Holy Cross Episcopal Church
Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 11:00 A.M.  Burial will be in the family
cemetery at Van Buren at 3:00 P.M.   Memorials can be made to the Holy
Cross Episcopal Church, 420 North Main, Poplar Bluff, Mo. 63901.  .
Ronald L. Cummings
Edith A. Hutchison, 60, of Poplar Bluff, Mo. died Wednesday, Oct. 30,
2013.  Edith was born November 10, 1952 in Poplar Bluff, Mo., and was
a life time resident.  She attended Midland Street Church.  She was a
video store manager.  Edith loved her family, pets and her job.
She married Norman R. Hutchison Dec. 5, 1980 in Poplar Bluff.  He
survives.
Edith is survived by her mother Helen Roach of Poplar Bluff,; one son
Richard W. McSwain of Fairdealing, Mo.; one daughter, Miranda
Johnson of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; one brother Robert Roach of Tuson, Az.;
one sister, Carol Delacruz of Reno, Nv.; and four grandchildren, Chelsea
Hite and Shine McSwain both of Poplar Bluff, Richard McSwain and
John McSwain both of Fairdealing.
Preceding her in death was her father, William D. Roach.
A visitation will be at 10 AM, Friday Nov. 4, 2013 at Fitch-Hillis Funeral
Chapel, followed by a graveside service at 11 AM at  City Cemetery.  
Rev. Calvin Buhler will officiate.
