Hattie May Stratton, 71, died May 2, 2015, at her home in Poplar Bluff,
Mo.  She was born Feb. 10, 1944 in Harviell, Mo. to the late Walter
Turner and Goldie Robertson Turner.  She was a long time resident of  
Butler County.  She was of the Baptist faith.  
Hattie married Eldon B. Stratton April 7, 1990.  He preceded her in death
Jan. 19, 2005
She was a seamstress before retiring.  She enjoyed fishing, playing bingo
and yatzee, and being with family and outdoor picnics.
She is survived by one son, Jeffrey L. Rightnower of Poplar Bluff, Mo.;
one stepson, Rudy Stratton (Jane) of West Plains, MO.; three daughters,
Linda Hoskins (Tim ) of Broseley, Mo., Kim Kirkpatrick (Rick) of
Fairdealing, Mo., Freida Phillips (Scott) of Wappapello, Mo., and Eugenia
Lowe (Jeff) of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; one brother, Bennie Turner of Florida;
two sisters, Rita Faye Miller of Florida, and Barbara Turner of Naylor,
Mo.;  15 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday at 10 AM at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home
followed by the funeral service at 11 AM.  Rev. Chris Sheppard will
officiate.  Burial will be in Sparkman Cemetery.
Hattie Mae Stratton
Bobby G. Hudson, 85, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Tuesday May 19, 2015
at John J. Pershing Veteran's Hospital.  He was born Dec. 16, 1929 in
Poplar Bluff, Mo. to the late William Hudson and Maudie M. Tucker
Hudson.  He was a long time resident of Poplar Bluff.  He was a member
of the First Christian Church. He was married to Verna Osborn Hudson.  
She survives. Bobby served in the United States Navy during the Korean
War.  He retired from the United States Postal Service. Besides his wife,
he is survived by two sons, Robert Hudson and Greg Clanahan both of
Poplar Bluff, Mo.; three daughters, Mary Hudson of Oklahoma City, Ok.,
Lisa Killen of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; and Cathy Schlotzhauer of Columbia,
Mo.; one sister, Dorothy Lee Barkley of Costa Mesa, Calif.; 12
grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A private graveside service
was held at 10 AM May 21, 2015 at City Cemetery.  Arrangement were
under the direction of Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home.  His granddaughter,
Victoria Schlotzhauer played Tapps.  The Rev. Bill Clanahan officiated.

Mo. 63901.
Stacy L. Swisher
in St. Louis, Mo.  She was born Dec. 4, 1977 in Pine Bluff, Ark., to
Rosalie Burns Taylor, and the late Stephen Lee Swisher.  She was a long
time resident of Poplar Bluff, Mo.  Stacy was of the Baptist faith.
She was a cashier at Casey's Convenience Store.  She enjoyed spending
time with her family and friends.
Besides her mother she is survived by one son, Sebastain Ramirez; her
life partner, Robert Sprague; one sister, Stephanie Fouts; one niece,
Victoria Roberts; one great nephew, Jaydon Roberts; and many cousins,
all of Poplar Bluff, Mo.
A memorial service will be held at 2 PM, May 30, 2015, at Hendrickson
Park.  Arrangements are under the direction of Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home
