Kenneth "Butch" Gholson, 47, longtime resident of Poplar Bluff, Mo died Friday,
March 4, 2011 in Arnold, Mo.  
Mr. Gholson was born September 29, 1963 in Poplar Bluff, Mo. He was a truck
driver for Proctor & Gamble.  
Survivors include his parents, Kennth Gholson of Liberty Hill, Tx, and Wanda
Gholson of Arnold, Mo.; two sons, Brian Gholson and Justin Gholson both of
Kansas City, Mo; two sisters, Carol Thorn of Wichita, Kan., and Lisa Gholson of
Cape Girardeau, Mo.; and four grandchildren.
"Butch" Gholson
Charles Jeffries, 82, longtime resident of Poplar Bluff, died Wednesday, March 2,
2011 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.  
Mr. Jeffries was born May 4, 1928 in Mountain View, Ar. He worked in the lasting
department for the shoe factory. Mr. Jeffries was a member of Midland Church. He
enjoyed working in the yard, gardening, and riding horses.    
On November 12, 1949 he married Dorothy Tibbs in Piggott, Ar. She survives.  
Also surviving are one daughter, Jeanne Dennis and husband Greg of Tallahassee,
Al; one son, Carlos Jeffries and wife Rhonda of Poplar Bluff, Mo; one sister, Nadine
Hammon of Sikeston, Mo; four grandchildren, Chris Jeffries of Poplar Bluff, Mo,
Derek Jeffries of Columbia, Mo, Shane Booth of Alanta, Ga, and Jill Durham of
Tallahassee, Al; and five great grandchildren, Chance Jeffries, Parker Jeffries, and
Jacob Jeffries all of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Phillip McDaniel of Columbia, Mo., and John
Corley of Tallahassee, Al.
He was preceded in death by his parents,  Gilbert Jeffries and Donia Williams.
"Cotton" Jeffries
Ralph Wunderlich, 86, longtime resident of Poplar Bluff, died at his residence on
Sunday, March 13, 2011.
Mr. Wunderlich was born December 6, 1924 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was self
employed as electrician, and the owner of Wunderlich Electric. Mr. Wunderlich was
a decorated Army Veteran, and was a member of American Legion Post 153, Poplar
Bluff Eagles, and a life member of Amvets.    
He entered into marriage with Mary Lou Wunderlich. She preceded him in death.
Also surviving are one daughter, Vicky Withrow and huband John of Williamsville,
Mo; one brother, Bill Wunderlich and wife Vesper of Littleton, Coloroda; two
sisters, Pat Corzine and husband Herman, and Judy Bagwell and husband Vernon
both of Poplar Bluff, Mo; three grandchildren, Jacob Withrow of Williamsville, Mo.,
Heather Mattingly and husband Roger, and Karen Brannum of Poplar Bluff, Mo.;
three great grandchild, Destiny Mattingly, Carrie Brannum, and Kristy Brannum.
Special son, Jason Stout, that he helped raise, and serveral neices and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents,  E.O. Wunderlich and Helen Priest; and
one son, Eddie Wunderlich.

Mrs. Mowad was born September 5, 1949 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was a
registered nurse for John J. Pershing V.A. Hospital, and an Army Veteran that
served in the Gulf War as an Army Nurse. Mrs. Mowad enjoyed her dogs, playing
the piano, and composing her own music.   
Survivors include: two daughters, Bonnie Hollinger and husband Tim of Poplar
Bluff, Mo, and Sharmin Moss and husband Jason of Union City, Tn; two brothers,
Randal Blankenship and wife Sonya of Manviel, Tx, and Dennis Blankenship and
wife Becky of Pleasant Hill, La; one stepmother, Corine Blankenship of Pleasant Hill,
La; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Blankenship of Spring, Tx; one honarary sister, Kim
Gum of Poplar Bluff, MO; four grandchildren, Kayla Zachary of Poplar Bluff, Mo,
Kristin Moss, Samuel Moss, and Chandler Moss all of Union City, Tn; and serveral
nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dudley Dewayne Blankenship and Jessie
Mae (Gaddis) Blankenship; and one brother, David Blankenship.
