Carl Don Jenkins
William Wright age 85, of Wappapello died Feburary 2, 2013 at Poplar
Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mr. Wright was born November 5, 1927
to Cora Markham Wright and Herbert Wright.
William was a truck driver and a WWII army veteran.

The family is  planning a private service at a later date

Ella Cordell Ruff, 77, died Feb. 4, 2013 in Poplar Bluff, Mo.  She was
born May 11, 1935 in Qulin, Mo. to John C. Cordell and Gertreau Burkett
Cordell.  Ella was a longtime resident of Poplar Bluff.  She was of the
Pentecostal faith.  Ella was a Home Health Aid and retired from Butler
County Health Center.
She was an ordained minister and loved ministering to people.
She is survived by one daughter, Tonjia Miller of Doniphan, Mo.;one
brother, Larry Cordell of Bowling Green, Ky.; two sisters, Ruthie
Weilmuenster of Poplar Bluff, Mo. and Janis Hancock of Bowling Green,
Ky.; and one grandchild.
Preceding her in death were her parents and one sister, Mildred Nichols.
Visitation will be 10 to 11 A.M. Friday, Feb. 8, 2013 at Fitch-Hillis
Funeral Home Chapel.  The funeral will follow at 11 A.M. with Rev.
Darryl Friday officiating.  Burial will be in Carolla Cemetery in Oglesville,
Mo.  
Ella Mae Cordell Ruff
Carl D. Jenkins, 56, of Poplar Bluff died Wednesday, January 30, 2013 in
St. Louis, Mo.  He was born September 30, 1956 in Kennett, Mo.  Mr.
Fellowship General Baptist Church.
Carl (Don) enjoyed playing the guitar and singing, watching Cardinal
baseball, and was an Elvis Presley fan.
He was married to Vicki M. Payne Jenkins.  She survives.  Also surviving
are two sons; Matthew Dale Jenkins and Kent Allan Jenkins, both of
Poplar Bluff, one brother; Eddie Jenkins of Ozark, Mo., four sisters;
Mary M. Wheetley of Mexico, Ind., Linda D. Rollins of Flora City,
Florida, Carlyn Blankinship of Kennett, Mo., and Helen Jenkins of Gideon,
Mo.; one gradchild, and several neices and nephews.
His parents, Carl M. and Athmen L. Jenkins preceded him in death.  
Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at Fellowship General Baptist
Church in Poplar Bluff, followed by the funeral at 11:00 A.M.  Rev.
Byron Beck will officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of
Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home. The fsamily has requested NO FLOWERS .
Eldon D. Colclasure, 90, died February 17, 2013 in Poplar Bluff, Mo.  He
was born September 13, 1922 in Louisville, Ill. to Orion Clyde Colclasure
and Lillian Belle Slattor Colclasure.  He was a member of the First
Christian Church.
Mr. Colclasure married Roberta Brown in Poplar Bluff July 11, 1949.  
She survives.
He served in the United States Air Force during WWII, Korean War, and
Vietnam War.  He was a retired school teacher.
He was a member of Tost Masters, enjoyed watch making, was a
muscian, an author, a ham radio operator, and making mandolins.
He is survived by three sons, Rea Colclasure of Alma Ill., Jon D.
Colclasure of Poplar Bluff, and Dale Colclasure of Houston Tx.; one
daughter, Ruth Ann Donaldson of Lexington,Ky.; two brothers, George
W. Colclasure of Effingham, Ill. and Ford M. Colclasure of Memphis,
Tn.; and one sister, Mary Lou Scamehorn of Albuquerque, NM., fifteen
grandchildren, many great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM
at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home Chapel.  The funeral will be at 12:00 PM at
the funeral home chapel.  Dr. Steven Williams will officiate.  Burial will be
in the Mo. State Verterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Mo.
