Mary Katherine Chatman, 88, of Poplar Bluff, Mo died April 25, 2011 at the Poplar
Bluff Regional Medical Center .
She was born June 4, 1922 in White Bluff, Tn., and was of the baptist faith.  She
entered into marriage with Roscoe H. Chatman on November 7, 1947.  He preceded
her in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Jacklyn Baker, and Carol Langston both of Poplar
Bluff, Mo; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  
No service will be held.  Burial will be in Poplar Bluff City Cemetery

Gary Lee Thomas, age 64, died at his home in Poplar Bluff MO on April 18, 2011.  
Gary is survived by his wife Jackie and three children, Richard Michael Thomas--
Indianapolis, IN,  Wrandi Lea Clayton --Webb City, MO. and Susan Jean
Gulley--Columbia, Mo.  He is also survived by two sisters Mary Jane Smith of
Goshen Arkansas and Georgia Harpole of Oronogo, MO and 16 grandchildren.  
Gary was a 1965 graduate of Webb City High School and a graduate of Missouri
Southern State University. He served in the Army during the Viet Nam War.  He
worked for Schreiber Cheese in Carthage Missouri for more than 17 years.  As a
store manager for the Heilig Meyers Furniture Chain, he opened three stores in
Missouri during the 1990s, before moving to Poplar Bluff in 1999. He retired from
the Hefner Furniture Store of Poplar Bluff in 2009.

James Lewis Hastings, 75 of Rombauer, Missouri died on Wednesday, April 27,
2011, at his Residence in Rombauer, Missouri.
Mr. Hastings was born Saturday, September 21, 1935. He served as a TSgt in the
Air Force from 1954 until 1977, and was a Veteran of Vietnam. James enjoyed
hunting, driving hot rods, and was a member of the NRA, and lifetime member of
On March 1, 1958 he entered into marrige with Halime (Celik) Hastings in Istanbul,
Turkey. She survives.
Other survivors include, two sons, Thomas A Hastings and wife Tracy, and James
L Hastings both of Poplar Bluff, MO; one daughter, Agnes Ayse Canady and
husband Donald of Poplar Bluff, MO; two brothers, Richard Hastings, and Larry
Hastings both of Poplar Bluff, MO; and three sisters, Diannie Vinson of Poplar
Bluff, MO, Myra Logan of Poplar Bluff, MO and Kathern Broz of San Antonio, TX;
7 grand children; 10 great grand children.

Allen Wayne Marshall, 61, resident of Mt. Dora, Florida, died Friday, April 1, 2011.
Mr. Marshall was born May 17, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois. He was a repair
technician and an U.S. Navy Veteran.   
Survivors include: his wife, Kay Marshall of Mt. Dora, Florida; one son, Allen
Marshall Jr. of Altamonte Springs, Florida; five daughters, Kimberly Schroer and
husband Ken of Middleburg, Florida, Mary Jo Addenbrooke-Winn and husband Rich
of Grand Island, Florida, Samantha Marshall of Keyser, West Virginia, Cassandra
Elias and husband Poncho of Tavares, Florida, and Kendra Ross of Ocoee, Florida;
one sister, Carol Shriver; three brothers, Kenny, Terry, and Bobby Marshall all of
Poplar Bluff, Mo; and twelve grandchildren, Kennedy, August, Victoria, Mariah,
Raven, Shea-Leah, Joseph, Eduardo, Dei, Quiko, Joshua, and Isabella.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Clyte Marshall; one sister, Diane
Marshall; and two brothers, Tom Boy and Dale Marshall
Evelyn Caldwell, 81, longtime resident of Poplar Bluff, Mo died Sunday, April 10,
2011 at Westwood Hills Nursing Home.                                                          
Mrs. Caldwell was born May 27, 1929 in Portland, Org. She was a homemaker and
a member of Kingdom Hall Church.  Mrs Caldwell enjoyed gardening, puzzles,
playing cards, and loved art.  
Survivors include two sons, Russell Caldwell of Marshfield, Mo, and Andy Caldwell
of Poplar Bluff, Mo;  two daughters, Evangeline Scott and Kathleen Ruble both of
Poplar Bluff, Mo;  ten grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
